NOE will only accept orders for n stock molds and delivery time to Eastern Washington has always been 3-5 days. I’m my guessing Oregon would be the same. NOE is always good about shipping But beware I had something sent via USPS from Florida and it took 14 days instead of the usual 5……..USPS has been slowing down lately

When I was in Nevada 3-5 , plus 1-3 for weekends was the rule . Packages went to SLC direct to Reno and generally 1 stop , then out to deliver .

I recently got items from ID , OR , and Nevada in in under 80 hr , I'm 130 mi north of Texarkana , west of Little Rock , it took 8 days to get a box from Midway .

I did have one of 10 from NOE take a week to process before it shipped .
I know they're probably running 16 hr a day .
Al Nelson , his 2 sons , and his wife are the whole staff unless something has changed in the last 2 yr .
Al's daughter's inlaw come in weekends and help package .
That makes it a 5 person shop running 2-300 moulds a week and shipping them , maybe more in times like this . I wouldn't worry unless you don't get a ship notice in 10 business days over 3 weekends .
He didn't get from a backyard shed 15 a week on a Bridgeport manual to a dedicated shop and 4 CNCs in 10 yr with sketchy service .

Monday and Tuesday was Amazon's Prime Day...and Walmart.com joined in that Mess this year too.
I have a feeling that is effecting this weeks USPS shipments.
Last Saturday, I ordered some chain Saw parts and DVD sets (from 8 different ebay vendors). They all should have all arrived on Tuesday or yesterday. I received two, and am waiting on all the others.
As Matt said, USPS is slow recently, and this week will be worse.

NOE has stock? I haven't seen any changes in their inventory in ages. I just ordered two moulds from Miha because I couldn't find anything available at NOE.

Been my experience also. NOE molds are good but the lack of stock and options lead me to just order from Accurate. That I can order what specifications I want and at a comparable price makes it a no brainer.

The stock inventory at NOE I suspect is best answered by business taxes . It's complicated but the short version is that its something like .01% on raw inventory per quarter by average weekly inventory and 1% of retail shelf stock on the 1st or 28th of each month . So if there's shelf stock below 5k sold there no tax due but at $5001 it costs 1% paid quarterly . If it's invoiced out it's sold and not stock and if it's not packaged for sale it's raw mat'l . Of course there's like 35 pages and this is probably grossly outdated . I had an uncle and a cousin that ran a shop building high altitude torque engines like 290 hp 380 ftlb 390 cid Fords that actually pulled that on a dyno at 6,000 ft with points and a spread bore carb . They kept lots of parts , and head kits , but very few assembled heads on hand .

In this market you can't sell 'em if you ain't got 'em. The good news is that I just received my 125 gr 9mm 4 cavity HP mould from Miha in less than a week. I've been checking NOE stock for one over the past few months without success.

I’m not faulting NOE for this, because I’m sure their orders are through the roof, but the last mould I ordered showed as in stock and I received a confirmation but no tracking number.

I waited a solid month before making an inquiry as everyone in the industry is swamped and overwhelmed. Turns out my order had slipped through the cracks. Since none of this hobby is a life or death situation, I had no problem with that, and made the suggestion that they hold my money until that particular sku became available once again.

They were pretty adamant that they would prefer not to do such a thing (I think he doesn’t like loose ends), and was told to expect a refund. I paid with PayPal and imagine my surprise to get pinged a few moments after hanging up the phone. Bingo, refund to my PayPal account!

Stuff happens, but I sure can’t complain about their speed in handling things once they realized there was an issue.

Just talked to Al about an hour ago... he's on it... turns out they had an inventory glitch like Otony had. As soon as we talked, he realized what was going on, didn't sugar coat it, and gave me a time frame when to expect the moulds. I've got plenty of fodder for the boys, and don't mind waiting a little longer for them. He said those are popular moulds and that they are gearing up for another run....

Thanks for all the info/advice!

I just ordered an in stock mold (2 weeks ago) and it was here in 3 days. I'm in SE Minnesota.
I have nothing bust the best to say about NOE.

Yup! My experience has been fast turn arounds... but due to the inventory snafu... things weren't lining up. Talked with Al this morning and it's sorted out...
