NOS rcbs promelt

MW65

Wetside, Oregon
Have an option of picking up a new old stock promelt. Thoughts on value, compared to the promelt 2 from china?

Gent is selling for $250. Appears that it has everything in the box/bag.

Should this be an instant grab or wait?

This is from an estate of a reloader.... turns out he also has a bunch of powder available, as well as some cast 9mm and some primers. About 100lbs of powder, which he doesn't want to piecemeal and he's try to get rid of the whole lot.

Pay attention to the voltage, either will work but you’ll want know what you bought before you get it home.

Edit: and I agree, that’s a very good price.

Between a 12v cigarette adapter to 110v and a power brick with a 110v plug, I should be able to see if she turns on and gets hot. But thanks for the reminder!

Only if it’s a 110v model.
Towards the end of their run folks were selling the 220v versions in the US. I bought mine NIB cheap because I have 220v in the shop. These things aren’t exactly full of sensitive electronics, bit of you don’t have the right plug you’ll be stuck for a bit.

What it appears... gentleman was a big time reloader, picked up this rcbs caster, and moved it around a little bit. Box is open, parts bag is still sealed. Nothing assembled. No molds or any other casting equipment. So he likely picked it up for eventual casting, but never got into it. Why??

I'll double check the voltage, test it out per instructions... and make sure she heats up. Thanks everyone!
