Old age and trigger time!

Getting my fifth eye injection in a couple weeks. It has helped enough to keep my retina from bleeding (a complication of diabetes) and shrink the little capillaries on my retina to improve my vision enough to be 20/20 corrected with glasses. Still some distortion but everything is crisp and clear now. A few years ago my eyes were bleeding bad enough that at various times I was legally blind in one or the other eye for several months at a time; laser treatment on both eyes and injections in the left seem to be working.

Hurt? Yeah, like somebody putting out a cigarette on your eye. But worth it.

If I had been born in 1854 instead of 1954 I wouldn't have lived to 35. I'm almost 65 and while I've had some medical challenges the end result is I can still do almost anything I want (or ought) to do. I think a lot of folks here can thank advances in medical technology for their quality of life.
