old powders

have not seen powders in cans like this for a long time. There are a whole bunch more than this. These are just 3 deep. He has a bunch of 3lb cans of dupont and bullseye.

Anyone care to guess when that h110 was made? There are a few h335 cans like it.

they used that [H triangle] logo into the 90's, but had switched over to plastic containers by 90 or so.

I emptied a can of Bullseye about like that last week, shot great. Powder thats stored correctly lasts a long time.I am always looking for those powder cans,I guess because they bring back memories of yesteryear although I have used a lot of it for fertilizer

The White round Winchester cans are from the early 80's (at least that is when I bought some of mine). I love the old Hercules cube cans. They seemed to store effortlessly. I still have a half can of Herco like that.

So, I go digging through my old Hercules powder guides, the square metal cans appear to have been from the mid-1950's through the early-1970's. Then the tall cardboard cans with the pull up plastic tube on top.

When I ETS"d in 74 my first #1 of Unique was in one of those tall cylinder plastic top containers.

I was gifted a lot of "old" powder from two different friends recently.
At my age, I will be lucky to shoot it all up.
I am going to give it a hell of a try.
