opening up redding/saeco bullet sizing dies

any way to do this? i want to open up as much as .015-.020. i do have a south bend lathe for the project.

1-1/2 to 2 hundred's, or 1-1/2 to 2 thousandth's?
if it's hundreds I'd use the lathe to make a new size die.
if it's thousands I'd just polish it out.

How hard are they?
If hardened gonna need carbide tooling. Polishing away that much will take a long time and likely end up with out of round bullets.

Tool post grinder, anneal first, or make new from 1144 or 4000 series steel alloy.

i have access to a few at smaller sizes(free) so i thought it might be doable. don't have a tool post grinder, but, i have a foredom grinder that i am thinking of making into one
