Oscar, Buckshot and I finally got things to work right and here are the pics of that sight he added to his M95 Steyr. Many thanks to Buckshot for his effort in getting the electrons to co-operate!

Man, that thing is sweet! Both mine and son's are bone stock. But both also near arsenal new. My bbl actually slugged at .329! I was shocked! Getting cast set up for it now.

I'm pretty sure that is a standard JME (Jap, Mauser, Enfield 17) Lyman sight and that it was pretty much just a drill and tap operation. Buck did do some additional work as you can see! I don't recall if that one is stock or if that's the one he rebarreled to 30/40 Krag, but it's one nice looking rig.

I remember seeing pictures of Buckshot’s 30-40 Krag over on the other site and seem to remember a 30-30 version that someone also posted. Makes me wish I had bought one of theses back in the day.

Brett the JME (Jap, Mauser, Enfield 17) Receiver sights mount on the right hand side! I guess the Styer has a different config at the back of the bolt to allow for left hand mounting
