PC PB bullets

With the advantages of using PC on rifle bullets. Has anyone tried to load PB bullets to perform more like the same bullet that has a GC.
My luck being the way it is. I have been working with NOE's copy of the #315. I am running low on as cast GC and i realized i sold my mold.:headbang: YAAA i know that is why stores have more of what you need.
I have alot of as cast PB but only a handfull of GC.

I haven’t tested how fast I can push powder coated PB bullets and retain accuracy. But I have shot my NOE #315- clone PB bullets a bit, with PC. And I have found I can load them at least a bit hotter than the same bullet with GC and conventional lube.

I regularly shoot to 2k with plain base PC bullets with ZERO problems in a few calibers.
Lately Usually about 11/12BHN.

I do regularly, in 30 cal. 1800 is pretty easy, higher may require harder alloy, etc. Gifted a couple boxes hornady GC so don't worry much about it now.

I PC everything from .380 to 50Beo, including 223 and 308 with no problems at all...any more, there was a learning curve but persistence pays off. I cast my BHN to match the pressure I am shooting, it makes a big difference, some may disagree but just my personal experience.

We have used cereal box wads under PB cast for years you help protect the base from getting fried.
Should also work with PC.
