Amazon sells K type sensor probes with Alligator clips. They work very for controlling temperature.

I can relate to your CC arrow............have the same, on my bench, for the LAM. I repurposed a ceiling fan type rheostat, in a outlet box, to control my heaters.

I have used those back in the day also old iron on piece of aluminum. Used router speed controller from harbor freight too. I have the new rcbs with the thermostat controller and doesn't hold temperature at all. Also use one of Midway brand from back in the 80's.

That PID looks a lot prettier than mine ( I made mine, I guess that's why its ugly) Where did you get yours?

Got from a guy on cast bullets forum about 5 years ago. He's not on there anymore, but I just got another one from Hatch on cast bullets nice unit. Only thing I don't like about the new one is fixed probe cable.
