Pitzer Lubricator

I found a Pitzer Sizer Lubricator a while back. It is now up and working. When I first looked at the sizing die and nose punch I said to myself I hope this thing comes with a useful die size. The die turned out to be .452". Not bad, but not one of my priorities. I took it apart and got the junk lube out of it. I keep looking at the sizing die and the outside diameter looked familiar. My micrometer confirmed it is the same size as a Star die. I made a nose punch adapter and taped it 1/4 x 28 and threaded a spare RCBS seating die nose punch into it. The thing actually works!

First attachment shows the unit as I received it. Second shows the original die and nose punch and my adapter. Third shows handle in sizing position. Fourth shows handle in the lubing position.

That's a neat little gizmo, never seen one before. Thanks for sharing...I might have to try and make something similar one day.

if you can find an old S&S swage press it wouldn't be too hard to turn out a rod and threaded adaptors to make a sizing only press like this.
