Wow, that seems to work. Got some stuck in the Lee (312 in a 311 Lee), decided to try one-shot as a lube. Ok, worked fine, pushed right through with little effort (311 first then 309, could go straight to 309). No scrapes or anything. . Now will it PC? Wiped with a kleenex. Dry today, not much left over PC in the bowl, coated thin but decent. Cooked. Still OK, sized - slick as snot - no scrapes. Fingernail test (mine are hard, need those big clippers to work) NO scrapes!! Now to load for BO and shoot!
Edit: Hornady one-shot appears to be a lube for sizing that can be PCd without a chemical wash, just a mechanical wipe.

Properly PC coated will stand up to firing smashing into a cube!! But they will scratch off!! They're tougher than the lead that they're attached too!!!

Treid the one-shot lube again to make sure not a fluke. I use it in a large zip-lock baggie to lube cases. Did that yesterday, tonite, dumped a few 170gr PB in the baggie & rolled around, no added one-shot. 312 run through 308 Lee sizer - easy, mirror finish on the sized. Added some polly-puff beads to the bowl that had powder and BBs from last time. Wiped the boolits with kleenex like before. Coating looked thin before cooking but quite good after. Few 'hit' steaks but even the grooves coated pretty good. Funny, poly puff(bean bag stuff) doesn't hold much powder! Oh 77% RH today and 60ish damp weather. Shot the ones I did before and no problem but not a hot load in the BO..

358156 Have you tried spraying the powder?
Sorry Kevin, I missed your post the first time around. No, I haven't tried spraying the obstinate powders, and probably won't. I already have several powders that work the way I want them too so I don't feel inclined to buy a powder coat gun, at least not for bullets anyway.
