Went to one of my favorite shows here today. I was seeing most pistol powders at $21-$23. Most ALL rifles powders were $25/lb! That was the lowest I have paid for Varget in SEVERAL years.

296 was $21 while H110 was $23 LOL!!!! Guess which I got?
IMR4895 was $25
LIL Gun was $22

Primers were $28-$30. Federal match were all $35

The place was really SLOW! Evidently most people are not scared of the upcoming panic. I am trying to buy as much as I can afford right now. This was the second show where AR mags were missing.

A Vet and his wife that do lots of gun shows rents space from my LGS an keep it fully stocked with reloading and shooting supplies. His powder, primer and jacketed bullet selections are second to none and run in the price range that Tomme boy mentioned.

I've never been affected by any of the panic buying, I have more brass than I will ever wear out in every caliber I shoot, can make a couple different calibers of brass from other cartridge case I have an abundance of and I cast all my own rifle and pistol bullets, plus I have a decent supply of J bullets if I ever need them. I've always tried to stay ahead of the curves and have always shot what I wanted when I wanted. I do need to buy me another 4 lb. jug of Power Pistol.

Very seldom do I purchase powder or primers, locally. Mostly due to selection and price. I've been buying on line for many many years. I prefer to purchase powder in eight pound jugs.................cheaper per pound and obtaining one lot number. Most companies don't charge tax and offer either free shipping or free HazMat. Only time I buy one pounder's is to try something new, before I invest in larger size jugs. I just add them to the larger powder order, that already met the minimum sale requirements.
