Today was my grandson Trevor's 1st day to shoot at a full 50 yards.
He used my 1909 Argentine, 7X57mm, sporter.
I am very proud of his progress.
I think for Trevor to be only 9 years old that he is doing real well.
I really enjoy teaching kids to shoot. Lots of fun when you connect and
they get it, and start doing it well, and usually you get paid with a nice,
big grin!
Ok, - to Trevor -- You are doing very well, young man. You are
lucky to have such a talented and dedicated grandpa. Learn all
you can from him - he is a real expert on the topic of cast bullets
and a true artisan in wood finishing.
Trevor is progressing very fast. While I have to give the educator much of the credit, the student obviously has a real feeling, a real aptitude for the subject-matter.
He's doing so well Ben. Well done to both of you.
Takes teamwork for education to work properly.
The student must be insterested in learning and put effort into the process. The educator must be involved with the goal of transferring their knowledge to the student.
Looks to me like this is an example of what happens when both parties live up to the expectations.
