Ratchet wrench for Lyman 450 lube screw

One of the members here asked if I had a better tool for the lube pressure screw on a Lyman luber. I don't but here is a link from eBay for a 1/4" combination open end/ratchet box end wrench for about $6 w/free shipping.

I have the original (I think) Chapman wrench for my 450 but if yours doesn't have it maybe this might be what you are looking for.

Caveat: I am not associated with nor have ever ordered anything from that source.

If you have a source please feel free to post it. The question comes up periodically.

When I get a break I'll see if I can dig up the one that worked really well for me. It has a six point drive, only one end with smooth handle on the other, and is reversible. I think it was offshore.

I bought the Maxcraft stubby 1/4" dual drive ratchet from Amazon, and it's the Cat's meow. It's quite ergonomic and has very fine clicks with a high quality feel. $6.45 shipping is free if you play Amazon's game/

I have no financial interests.
Mod's if posting a link like this isn't proper, please delete it.

I found that the best tool to avoid the annoyance of the little ratchet is an air cylinder attached to a Star sizer.

I got a couple of ratchets at a "cheapo tool" flea market at Oshkosh air show,
IIRC, about $2 each. More of an open frame than a Chapman, but they work
just like it. One sits on my RCBS and my Lyman. Chapman ratchets fail, IME.

I went with a Cabine Tree replacement threaded rod that has a spring on it to keep pressure on the lube column. I could pressure it up about 1/4 to 1/2 a turn and do about 10 bullets before having to mess with it again.

+ the 'nut' on top is 5/8 or so.

Love Harbor Freight. I don't expect too much from some of their precision measurement tools but they have some great bargains on a lot of useful stuff.

Hey, I finally got that break! Just went and looked, the wrench I really like is a Neiko, reversible without flipping over, six-point, 1/4" drive. It's exactly the same length as the Chapman wrench and is pretty well made without a lot of slop.

Neiko part number is 03044A

I bought the same wrench last year, it's a dandy. Works great and I like the fine clicks.
