Does anyone have experience with this bullet in a 9x19? 147 grain , normally I would call RCBS and ask directly but they are affected by the power outage in CA.

A lot of people( like me ) don't immediately associate a number like
82077 in their minds. Some bullet casters quote Lee mould numbers the same way. It is true that I keep a few H & G and Lyman numbers in my mind but not so many by other mould makers.

I see a couple potential complications with this bullet design, knowing the pesky 9mm cartridge and pistols as I do. A lot of the 147 grain jacketed 9mm bullets used by the ammomakers have a "boat-tailed" base form, in order to prevent interference between a square bullet base and the case's inside case wall taper. Keep in mind that most 9mm barrel throats are quite short and have abrupt leades, so longer OALs to address base interference could cause magazine clearance issues or chambering problems. Bias alert--I am NOT a fan of heavy-for-caliber bullet weights in the 9mm.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
I ended up with a lot of these bullets in a trade, cast from lino/WW. I've loaded a lot of them now without issue. This is a really old design and I think I got my data from the original (and only) RCBS Cast Bullet Manual. I never had any problems with length of pressure in 9mm or 357 SIG. The only reason I don't have this mould is because it is only available in 2 cavity and those are getting tedious to cast with anymore. I ended up with a 4 cavity 356637 instead.
