California's Central Coast Amid The Insanity
Reading his posts, on that other site, there were many times I thought he and I were brothers from different mothers.

Rest in peace, sir.

What Michael said.

I learned yesterday afternoon of J.D.'s passing from Ammohead. J.D. and I have been in contact almost every day for the past few years via Facebook, and the news of his passing rocked me pretty hard. I have lost close to a dozen friends and family over the past year, and as I wrote to Lois yesterday--J.D.'s loss diminishes my world--our world. This part of "aging" really sucks.

I saw that last night .
Rest easy .

Having grown up with and as a result of of my early trade I spent my youth until I was about 30 always around folks 25+ yrs my Sr . As a result of that and being now a little over 50 I've said farewells to many , many friends and I'm getting pretty short on known to me family too . 30 + passings ...... I still don't know what to say . None of it helps , it is reassuring to know folks think of you or your family so anything is better than nothing . Even after all the practice it doesn't get any easier .

He will be missed- R.I.P

I happened to be across the street a few times the past few days.... There are at least 3 other old members that did not see much of 2020 ( and it is only Jan 9th! ) They may need a RIP section so we don't loose track of some old friends.....kind of sad

Just saw that about Curator today. RIP.
JD's writings were cool. Didn't see if his last work got published.

I'm finding all this a bit hard to take! Everything is happening so fast!
I have always wondered if as we grow older and time is moving faster for us, are we accelerating to the "White Light" ( energy)?

Got a nephew who's inlaw Bill lived in the same burg as J.D. - other side of town from me. Always wondered if they knew each other as Bill was a big collector of anything Texas cowboy. Had Ranger badges, lots of 'peacemakers' and Winchesters under glass and a walk-in safe I never saw. Lost him couple Christmases ago. The stories they could have told each other. He gave nephew twin 'Centenial' Win 94s in 30/30 - nib for wedding present. He and Erline were great people.

Lead1 also passed. Sadly these gentlemen were not that old either. May they all rest in peace and if they cant rest in peace they can stop by the reloading room and go fishing with me and Grandpa.
