Recoil pad companies

I had the same experience with their customer service.
I bought 3 Encore stocks at guns shows or off the web a few years ago.
Took pics and sent them and they replaced them.
Good people to deal with.

I only used Pachmyer for years, but started using Hogues a while back and have been happy with the performance and the difference in price.

If it kicks enough that either of those won't help, I just don't shoot it any more.

A few months ago I contacted Limbsaver after noticing 3 rifles with the gooey pad syndrome.
One of the pads stuck to the carpeting in the safe like gorilla glue. After sending them pictures
of the affected rifles they gave me the option of sending the stocks to them ( at my expense )
or they will send me free replacement pads and I will fit them myself. A week later I got a box
of 6 pads.

Hogue also makes good recoil pads. Solid sides, three colors, no white lines.
Pachmayr Old English were/are classy.
I have a Limbsaver pad on my 12 gauge 870, I put one on my 4.5 lb. Yildiz 12 gauge single shot, and one on my Tikka 30-06. I also have two slip on Limbsaver pads for rifle use on the bench.
I noticed that they are $20 at Wally today- not a bad deal!
