Reduced Rifle Loads Using Winchester Powders - WST or WSF

Would it be a bad idea to think that any fast shotgun powder would probably work well for reduced loads ?
There are many New shotshell powders I know little about.

I haven't been able to find unique or universal for ages. That's why I gave up waiting and went with the WST/WSF testing. Daughter wanted to shoot some type 99 arisaka loads and i was sick of pulling bullets out of premade loads for other rifles in order to scrounge unique.

If I could just land like 4 lbs of unique, I'd do a dance and post it on the internet.

I'll have test results in about a week for WST and WSF in reduced loads for 30wcf and 7.7x58 Arisaka. Thus... along with the 30-06 results I posted earlier in this thread, there will be a little more data for the semi-fast and medium burn rates for shotgun powder.

I picked WST/WSF due to it's recent common availability, lower price, and burn rate relative to other more used/published reduced load powders.

WST burn rate tracks around trailboss/H international/green dot
WSF burn rate tracks a bit slower than unique/universal/herco

On paper WSF is the bulkier of the two by weight/volume. This is per the Lee VMD (volume measure density) chart. I use it as a rough estimate of how much a powder will take up volume wise in a case. This is when quickload is unable to provide me an estimate.
