That beautiful finish sure shows of that superb wood, Ben. Amazing job. And with the checkering....
I have no idea how to deal with that without ruining it.

Is that a chemical stripper doing the first removal, or just scraping? Both?

Amazing work Ben.

Is Trevor learning that too?

Right now, he would rather shoot than work and sweat on a project like this......

Beautiful work Ben on a great piece of wood. That looks like the fore end off of a Browning Broadway Trap if I'm not mistaken. I have one that I have used as my trap gun, although I haven't shot trap in a number of years. I thought this was going to be the year that I started back but haven't yet. Mine was made in 1970 I believe. A lot of people have suggested having it back bored and have it modified to accept choke tubes, but I really like the grand old shotgun the way it is.

Ben--

More superb photography of your exquisite wood-working skills. I think a lot of us here view Ben's wood works as among the finest seen anywhere, I know that I do, and his photographic skills depict the work so beautifully. It is truly one of the big "draws" to this site.

Allen,

You are very kind and generous with your words.

Thanks,
