Ben's finish ingredients are so secretive they are stored in an NSA vault in a cave somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.

You know that is funny, but I really don't discuss details of how I do this.
Of course, Coca-Cola doesn't give out any details on their drinks either.

A good reason for both.

Ben,
I remember someone asking you, once before, and your similar reply. There is no reason for anybody else to know, and that's the way it should be. Well, maybe Trevor ought to know. Someday.

I was thinking a Broadway also, but I don't remember them having quite that much flair out at the front of the stock.
it's more than a newer 725 has, and more than a 3200 for sure.
it could be a later Broadway from when they done a short re-issue in the later 80's early 90's time frame airc.
the 90-T was a stock similar to that one but it was/is a single shot.

Whatever it came off of, it is a beautiful piece of wood, and now that beauty can shine through.
And since Ben hates epoxy, my bet is that his magic finish is easier to repair if it gets damaged
again in the future.

That is amazing workmanship....you must have the patience of Job. I have restocked a few rifles, and done some checkering. I would never attempt to refinish a finely checkered piece of wood like that. Wow. It is a pleasure to see your work. Thank you.

Wow. It has to be cool just to hold a work of art like that.... plus to contribute to putting it back to
top condition must be fun.

The owner was VERY concerned about the fore end and butt stock matching. When he got the shotgun reassembled, he was thrilled with the match.
