Im feeling the urge here...
First off, Iterminally afflicted as a 35 caliber nut...
My very first hunting rifle was a Browning BLR 358 Winchester. I regretfully and for who knows why, I sold it along the way.
I have various 35 Cal rifles and enjoy all of them. From the 357 Magnum and Maximum to the 358 Norma Magnum.
My Whelen does a good job but its big and heavy. As the Norma Magnum is.
I do not have a 35 Rem bolt. But I do have a 356 Single shot H&R. (I would sell this should I get the American 358) I like single shots, But I prefer a Bolt. I have a Remington 760 that could handle some stiff loads doing more than 75% of what the 358 could. But its a pump.
Aanyhow not looking to justify. There is none but I want it.
I have read thru the couple 358 posts I found. But wondered if anyone has this rifle already?
I have a few Americans and they are very accurate. I have been very impressed with the way the rifle handles. It will be a cast bullet gun and a hunting rifle.
Any and all comments welcome.
