Yesterday I pulled the action out of the stock and with Tru oil in hand I applied a coat then a second before bed last night. This AM, I mixed some more epoxy and filled in a couple voids. Cosmetic really but it was easily fixed and visible.
Well I musta got a bit carried away, Because tonight the action wont fit.
Some close inspections with a magnifier found the problems. Stray epoxy strands hidden by the grain of the laminate. It Dosent take allot!!
Everything is all cleaned out and it bolts together and comes apart as it should now.
This rifle is ready for the range!!
