I ordered a Wolff spring kit for my Ruger GP 100 , 357 Mag. revolver.
Today was the day to make the installation.
I changed out the main spring from the factory 14 lb. main spring to the Wolff 9 lb. main spring.
( I have a Wolf 10 lb, and 12 lb. mainspring in reserve in case I have problems with misfires )
All the critical areas got a 1,000 grit mirror polish.
All the work is now completed.
I now have a 2.25 lb. single action trigger pull and a silky smooth double action pull.
In order to polish the part you see below, you must tap out the pin that holds it in place. Then the part is easily polished, re lubricated and put back in place.
I also changed out the trigger return spring.
That made a huge difference in the trigger pull.
All work is completed and revolver is now re assembled.
