I suspect that you are quite correct. I am about "750 rounds in" with this little blaster, and in that time the obnoxious trigger strokes (double- and single-action) have moderated a bit. Marie loves shooting the little beast, but the full-value 327 Federal loads give the 30 Carbine Blackhawk's report a run for its money in terms of volume and sharpness. One can only imagine what a 2" snubby firing 327 Federals would be like. After about 150 rounds of that eardrum drilling, I loaded up 400 pieces of Starline 327 brass with RCBS 32-98-SWC and enough WW-231 to prompt 950-1000 FPS. These shoot VERY accurately, and both recoil and report are fairly docile. I added Hogue neoprene Mono-Grips in place of the factory grip set, and that was another vast improvement.
