I use and carry Bianchi Speed Strips, daily, in 38/357 and 44 Spl/Mag.
I like that they lay flat don't shed bullets. Never tried the other brands. Not looking to reinvent the wheel.

Bianchi Speed Strips were my back-up spare round dispensers. On my duty belt, lay were mounted in the issued dump boxes dead-center in the back. HKS loaders rode in baskets up front. Yeah, I went high-cap before it was cool.

In the desert heat, sun, and salt air by the Salton Sea the strips lasted about a year and a half. Of course, both salt air and gun solvent will attack brass, so usage conditions matter.

On the 41 magnums in law enforcement. A couple of years (1992) after I had moved to Montana, east around the Seeley Lake area a police officer pulled over a pickup for something trivial. One of the people in the pickup (a local) bailed out of the rig and into the woods, the police officer figuring flight equals guilt pursued. The bad guy open fire with a 41 magnum and hit the officer in the badge. Bullet was stopped by his vest and the officer was still in the fight. Said officer then returned fire with his own 41 magnum. After a few months the bad guy was arrested and sent to prison. What are the odds that both would have 41 magnums? There is an article on *KPAX (local news Missoula area) titled LONGTIME MISSOULA CO. SHERIFF's DEPUTIY RECALLS NIGHT HE WAS SHOT" from July 9, 2021 about this in a bit more detail.

The only advantage of the TUFF brand was they offered more caliber choices other than 38/357 or 44/ 45Colt. They defiantly begin disintegrating more quickly than the Bianchi ones. I have some yellow-colored ones in 38/357 that have lasted well but don't seem to grip the rounds quite as well. Can't remember the brand off hand.

I've owned two Charter Arms Bulldogs and now own a S&W 696. I have two speedloaders for it that also fit the Charter Arms Bulldogs.

The pistol was my everyday carry until it became valuable. I went to the Elmer Keith Memorial Shoot several years ago to shoot it in the practice session on Friday. Three people offered me more than the original price, but no sale as I cannot replace it.

I own a 4" nickel M57. It's a pretty nice gun but it's the only .41 I own and I don't have nearly as many molds for it as I do for .38, .44, and .45. Always thought the M58 was a pretty good idea, I like fixed sights on carry/knock around guns as long as they're clear and I can find a useful load that hits where they point.

Wish Ruger would chamber the five shot GP100 in .41 Mag or Special but that will never happen.

Speed strips! I thought I was the only one left that still had a soft spot for them. I do need to hunt up a couple more now that I think on it.
Nope, you have some company in that use of speed-strips.
I have several. Nothing better to carry a reload for a snubnose 38.
5 rounds in a speedstrip fits perfectly in the watch pocket of blue jeans. Flatter than a speed-loader and faster than loose rounds.

I didn't look and honestly it's been several years. Might check out revolver supply. They make a lot of stuff that gets repacked and sold by others . My interest was in moon clips but I seem to recall there being other speed gear .

Found a half-box of police loads in my crate of odd-ball ammo, so we went shooting for a little bit this morning (doesn't take long to fire 24 rounds DA). At 25 yards, I was able to keep all the shots on a 6" plate but the POI was a bit high--I need to practice more with harder-kicking DAs.

Still contemplating holsters. I used to have a Brill for 4" N-frames, not sure if I want to try to track down a similar holster from a current maker. I tried one from El Paso Saddlery years ago, definitely not the same. Maybe I'll try something more recent in style--maybe even as late as between-the-wars.
