Seeking hog load in .30-06 or .308

That RCBS 311-180 FN GC is a nice bullet. With my alloy comes out about 195 grains. I like the idea of fairly slow and fairly soft.

That one works great out of all my 30 cals... +1!!

i shoot the 150 version in my 30-30 when i take a cast bullet hunting.
without a little nose mush you get radial wounding almost 2" out but only about a 25 cent piece worth of permanent wound channel.
i run the little 150 pretty hard [water dropped alloy and speed in the 2300 range] because of that.
if it's a cold morning you'll see the impact blow steam out of the Deers nose.
