Shooters World powder for 308Win & 358Win in Ar10

Anyone here have any experience with these powders? According to their lists either Tactical Rifle or Match Rifle should work for this platform. The availability and prices are attractive but which one as I want to lay in some 8#'s. I will also be loading for 358Win in this same platform so if a powder will work for both it would be a winner.

I am reluctant to try a powder that I cannot model with Quickload software. I'd say if you can get some and won't miss any meals over it, pick up plenty while you can because I doubt you will be sorry.

You need a UPDATE IAN!! My QL has the Shooters World powders listed.

Its not on the shelves around here. But I'm powder "rich" and really have ZERO BUSINESS buying ANY powder.


So yea, Id like to try some.

Tactical rifle seems like an exact cross for TAC powder. Throws the exact same charge without moving the adjuster. Same load with either powder shoots the same groups.

And I can get it for $13/lb for the SW powder if I buy 8lb jugs of it. I just picked up 20lbs of TAC for a very good price. $10/lb.

According to what I have been reading on the interwebs TAC and H4895 are very similar so I'll be ordering a few 8#'s including 2 of Tactical Rifle. This should satisfy my immediate needs. I'll be starting loading for my new 358Win in AR10 shortly so a new adventure begins....
