I've shot the Lee 105 gr in 9mm(didn't work too well) and .38 spec(S&W Hwy Patrol). I guess I should try it in the Browning B92. I'm a little leery of the slow twist in the B92. Is the Win 92 mentioned by Rockydoc slow twist too?

I've probably got over 100 sitting in a large peanut butter jar. The Lee six cavity will run that over in no time.

Glad I found this thread.

Well if that B92 isn’t working out for you, I would love to have a companion to my 44 B92. Like the Browning.

Rocky I believe the standard for 357 is 18.75

Yeah, I couldn't remember if it was 1/4 or 3/4. That 1/2" probably doesn't make much difference.

I just realized that I got in too much of a hurry. The .357 is a Rossi, not Browning. The Browning is a .44 Mag. I could be wrong but I think the Rossi is maybe 38". I'm not sure I understand why manufacturers put such slow twist barrels on there handgun cartridge lever actions.

It's rumored to be because they were tooled for cowboy action . Light loads and light bullets .

The 1-32 45 Colts is great ....... As long as it is hot enough to stay supersonic to point of impact or stays subsonic all the way it's all good . 1240 fps with a 454424 at 4800' 30% humidity 80° and at 78-82 the bullet turns into a rising curve ball and makes a left turn about 10:00 and 30° .
The 452-252 at 1240 , 140' MSL , 60% humidity and 80° falls apart about 45 yd .
The presumption is that it's trans sonic buffeting upset to tumbling . The 265 gr 452255 stretches it out to 87-90yd .

Held to 1050 fps MV 200 yd rocks , 100 yd 6" gongs , are in a whole lot of trouble . Calm hogs inside 50 yd just fall over .
That seems to apply from Goliad Tx , north to Pineville Mo , and west to Winemucca and Hawthorne NV .

It takes the utility out of it that's for sure . It's also de
