Excellent job, Trevor!

How's the shoulder feeling? Any strawberry bruises? It's not like shooting cast bullets with reduced loads, for sure.

Nice looking rifle, Ben. There have been times when I thought of replacing my 6-43 dated Garand's wood, but then I look at the character marks and wonder what was going on that caused them to get there and in what theater, and the thought quickly passes.

Those certainly look like full-house loads. Might want to place some shot bags around the forward rest.

Reminds me of me when I was shootin' Dad's model '94 trapper's model 30-30 with full-house loads when I was 10 years old.

Warms my heart to see the results of good parenting and grandparenting.

Good goin' Trevor. Good goin' Ben.

Ben,
It looks like you need a few blocks of lead on the base of that rest to keep it stationary! The Lad did a great job of recovering his sight picture, However!
I see you were not shooting light cast bullet loads! Darn, that boy has learned to shoot very well!
Great job!

A real battle rifle, with full-tilt battle rounds. WELL DONE, TREVOR! He managed the recoil quite well, from the video sequence.
