I used an oil-dampened Texan scale for many, many years, before finding a steal on a very slightly used RCBS 5-0-5.
A Texan feature I really like was the + and - hash marks located above and below the balance mark.

To put it in the local vernacular, "I got no bench". Still have to build a bench. Caught in a bit of a conundrum. I have tools, toys, supplies in boxes and bins on the floor of what is to become "the reloading room". Need to build a bench to stow much of this stuff. But, need to find a place to stow some of this stuff so that I have room to build the bench.

I am pretty sure that, once the bench is built, it won't take more than a month or two to bury it in clutter.

You just moved! Give yourself a break. We moved here in 1995. There are still boxes in the barn that haven't been unpacked.....

I hear ya on the messy bench,gotta clean up mine.Lyman M5? I think..... use it almost every day.

Ain't no way my bench would stay looking like that for more than 10 minutes.
