Sight Pusher Suggestions??

I'm not much help but I don't see how that one really works.
I did see one on there for about 75 bucks or so that looked much simpler and held the slide in place.
I think a sight pusher should/could be able to be used without removing the slide and should be simple enough to just hook over the slide/barrel and push against the sight.

Thanks for your input but, after waiting a couple days for a response, I just ordered the one listed above. Read all the reviews from multiple sources and checked the ratings. I found that there's a bunch of copies out there that are just cheap junk. The main support square of this one is made of steel, the screws are steel and has good reviews (the spacers are just aluminum). The price point was right on, too. I'll let you guys know how it works out.

The sight pusher didn't fit the 1911 slide very well so, ended up using just a spacer and the screw with another spacer, just like a vice would hold it. The bottom spacer was much too thick to accommodate the 1911 slide so, I removed it. I taped the slide up with duct tape and had no marks from the tool. It worked! Now, I'll take the tool with me to the range and be sure that it's shooting in the right spot. Hopefully where I aim, now!

I got one on eBay, made from a piece of square steel tubing, with machined aluminum
pusher, clamps and spacers, etc. Works well on 1911, only $40. Simple, robust and
good deal. Not sure if the guy still sells them, but will look when I get a chance.

OK, didn't see that link the first time. Same design, but spacers are totally different,
mine has two clamp screws and spacer design is perfect for 1911.

Tried out my RIA today and wow, what a difference. Not quite ready to show off my targets yet but, know that I shot out the centers in only about 30 rounds at 7 yards. The centers just fell out on the ground! I would have shot further out if some other shooters hadn't shown up and taken up residence on the longer yardage lanes. Can't wait for the next time, now!
