Got the replacement yesterday. They are the right size this time. He listened to me about the anvil side with the slot cut and the O.D. Now there is a lot of meat left for support. But it is getting jammed up on the anvil in the bottom die. You can't feel it jammed up till it is really a mess.

Not sure on how to stop this. Would a little lube wiped on the flashing stop this or would that be a problem down the road when sizing or powder coating?
Charlie's instructions with my 22 cal FCIII, says to use a spray on dry lube. I bought a can of "Dry Lube with PTFE" made by Liquid Wrench. I spray inside the bottom half of the die, works great.

I use Miller Lite cans (the ones with the screw on lids) for my plain base gas checks.
They are a little thicker than the regular beer
and soda cans. You have to cut them in strips, but that is no problem.
My brother drank Miller Lite from these cans and I have a lifetime supply.
Soda can aluminum was a little too thin.

I have had the same experience as tomme boy. Mine was sent back and he said he would make it right. Took 10 weeks to get the thing and then it doesn't work. Aggravating!!!
