maybe look at it or drip some oil in the edge of the slide.

then maybe one day go,, you know I remember this gun might need cleaned.

Not a bad plan at all. I think sometimes we humans get hung up on little things we think might matter because either someone said it would or intuition says that something that looks wrong must be something that will cause issues. But as Bassackwards used to say, it doesn't matter until it does!
