Lot of truth in that.

Had a little old lady call us out to a semi-assisted living community some years ago for a carpet cleaning estimate. Upon inspection it looked like someone had a ton of accidents or her place had been flooded & improperly mitigated(turns out it kinda was...eewee) I asked if she knew what the stains were from. Yes, she replied.....but she wasn't saying. To save her anymore embarrassment, I assumed the worst & we fixed it up real nice. Did that for her once or twice a year for the last 6 years of her life.

We gave her 1956 pricing, doubt we ever made a dime cleaning for her. We did however brighten her day the best we could, & recieved several good referrals from her cheerleading about our helping her.

I'll save the worst, you don't wanna hear about the old guy with the bag accident, the hemorrhaging old lady, the stabbing clean up, what the police asked me to remove from one unlucky officers back seat, or what happens when a sewer backflow prevention device turns into an inflow assistance device.

Sheesh. And I thought spending ten hours on my back on a rainy day changing out the walking beams on a garbage truck while bilge water and maggots dripped all over my face was rough.

Freebullet and his wife are great people. Two of
the hardest working people I know. I think he is
sort of the McGiver of Omaha.

Those kind words, coming from you, are especially meaningful. We do work alot, like so many others. We are grateful for the freedom, to be able to do so & for the sacrifices others like you & your family made/ make to provide it.

I grew up in a drain and sewer cleaning business so I've seen and smelled a lot. I was laughing at the title as the carpenters on the spec house next door start the generators at 5:30 AM 7 days a week to get enough light to see. I would be less ticked if they waited until dawn. Should get out of here this week and I'll have a happy wife again.
