Small UTV?

I’m not sure what you are considering small. I have a pioneer 700-4. I have had it for 5 years and have had zero problems.
It starts right up during our coldest weather which is usually around 0 deg.
Pretty much any of the Honda atv’s and utv’s ive been around start up during any weather once they went to fuel injection.

I have a HiSun HS400 [not what I'd recommend to anyone]. A similar SxS [size-wise], pretty much fills my 5' wide by 8' long trailer with inches to spare... Something smaller. I saw some MSRPs for new ones, oh my God, it's a small 4wheel vehicle, not a car!

Elric, don't know if it qualifies but,a vg bud has a Kawasaki Mule that has been beat on hard.... and has been bullet proof.

Honda also makes the pioneer in a 500cc model which is much smaller. I haven’t ever driven one so I can’t comment.
I’m 6ft6 255lbs so I had to have some room.

Polaris had/has a 2 seater in the 8-K range.
if I was gonna buy something in the 15-18K range for ranch type work it would have doors, radio, and a heater.
if for the mountains and the trails like we got here a 500cc size 4 wheeler is just about right.
I keep the 330 around cause I can pull start it even if the battery is dead.

This 393cc is carburetted. Not my first choice when it dips under 45 degrees.

No complaints on the Polaris Ranger, I bought new in late 2016 (2017 model). I outfitted mine like fiver would, except for radio and heater. Also have a steel snow plow blade. This model EPS has electronic fuel injection and power steering. I wanted a 2" receiver type hitch..............quite a few manufactures don't offer that size, including Kawasaki. I wanted to be able to use my "Hitch Hauler" carrier as well as a disc/plow.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
We have the Coleman available at TSC. It's a Polaris Ranger clone, probably similar to the Hi Sun. Once a second in line fuel filter was added it's been a good, dependable machine. The inline filter stopped all our starting issues. Colemans warranty for parts sucks, and if you don't have a participating/authorized repair shop nearby it's hopeless, but other than that is been a pretty good machine for the price so far. Ours is fuel injected, electric power steering, several other upgrades. I'd rather it was a Kubota or Honda but its been a real help so far.

My pop seems to buy one every year or two. Trades ol one in.
He has had two Polaris single seat jobbers. Nice rides. More trail than utility.
now he has a Yamaha. He has had for three years longest yet! Its a sport utv 700. Plenty “fast” and good room and payload. Tows good too.
Starts shifts stops much more consistant and smooth than the polaris machines.

its was also cheaper than any he has bought. Its not really small tho. Its 61” wide over five high and probably nearly 10’ long. Nice seats power steering and easy driving. Shifting is what I'm most impressed with. Very smooth.

honda corners the market for smooth quality IMHO.
