It seems to me that The Clear PC is the "vehicle" polymer and colors are the pigments. Some pigmented PC coats ok some not!
But The pure polymer works fantastic by itself as to flow and coverage.....the Copper to me seems to be the clearPC with a dye instead of a solid pigment....probably why that coats so well also
Just my Opinion

Rocky doc, thanks for pointing that instruction out. I'll sure try it. I'm shooting 30-30 Lee 170 fp powder coated, and after sizing to 309 -310 the nose needs slimming down to chamber. I'll let you know how it works out.
Please do. I also have that mould. It is a perfect fit for my Ruger # 1 as cast, so I may just put 2 coats of Ben's liquid lube on them and go with it. All that sizing and re-sizing may be more trouble than it's worth. However, your results may have me change my mind.

I'll definitely keep you apprised of my success or lack of same. I'll have to order some nose sizing dies, one for the 30 cal, and a 32 Special, and also one for 35 Rem, 358 Winchester and the Whelen. Gun show this weekend in Post Falls , first one in three months for me. I have a table and high hopes.

NJP, Many of the metallics are like that. Well not Silvers, I have found to be more opaque. But Copper Brass and Gold sure are!! Multiple coats needed if tou want more solid a color.

Here is CLEAR SMOKES product on a 45 WFN bullet I did last night.
