Brad,
That is subtractive manufacturing which is pretty much the majority of what we do today. We
are working on additive manufacturing too, such as 3D printing. Most of the material properties
stink as does the precision of the shape and the surface finish. It will improve.
But, don't expect to pick up a Replicator at Walmart any time soon. :)

You are close to state of the art.....need a good TIG welder, or at least a oxy-acetylene
rig.

I graded, filled, and corrected drainage of about 800' of driveway...caliche, not snow. Did away with a big pile of material that's been by the front gate for a few years. Ran out of daylight (10 hrs on the machine) so I didn't get to stretch and tie off the rest of the run of fence that I put in place yesterday.

That is good news about Kevin, for sure.

Do a google search on "Iwalk 2.0". I ordered one of these to try out, we will see how it does as a stop-gap measure between now and the time the prosthetic gets delivered. Yes, I lack patience.

Just finished shoveling 8" of snow off the driveway. It was wet and heavy. Sun is trying to come out. and that would be nice.

Took my wife to see the MD today. She has a follow up Thursday of pain doesn’t subside. Looks like a good chance she has a torn rotator cuff.

I didn’t even get in too much trouble when I asked how well she cooks left handed.
