Got chores done....

Sent a nice cloverleaf 3 shot 7-08,130 Lee group downrange @100 yds. checking zero after cranking in 1/2" high elevation.....

Went to hunting clothing rack and pulled my Ebay Swiss surplus, more or less white, 5$ snow "camo" jacket. Found white gloves, earbuds, and a Stanley Scruggs fawn in distress call in the pocket. Was like Christmas.... doh.

Grabbed the dog and went for a predator hunt in the snow. Very tough but it was quality woods/hike/hunt. Got to within 75 yds of two does and almost got a 150yd Field n Stream shot on a crow.

Me and the dog were pretty, stick a fork in done after.

started in recycling the garage some more, but only made it as far as digging more shot shell hulls out of a bag.
Littlegirl called about a water leak on her water softener.
I tore some of it apart but without a manual of any sort I wasn't too interested in going in too far.
managed to get 2 of the 3 leaks stopped and was trying to figure out how to fix the third when I noticed the housing was 2 pieces with a gasket but no screws holding the halves together.
I asked her if it ever leaked during the summer.. nope,,, It did drip a little last winter though.
well stick a heater in here and see if that little drip stops.
oh well,, gave me a chance to take the grand kid out in the snow storm and watch him get plowed down by the dogs about 20 times before he had enough.

Me thinks the dog is coming between the wife and I?

Yuckety yuck,haha.... yeah, she sleeps between us in the bed. She made it all nght last night not having to go pee...... the dog. We call it being, "a Hallmark dog".... that's when she's being a perfect angel and lays down or is behaving way better than your kids? Gotta go deliver the cherry wedding table today and will take "Hallmark" with me.Should be a cpl dz women there?

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Sending some lambs to market Saturday, which requires figuring out which to send, which requires setting up the run in the barn they have to pass through to get loaded. Not a huge job, but there are 20 other things to do besides that. So, just plugging along as best I can, getting what I can do done. Winter- phooey!

Went to Sd pheasant hunting last week. Weather was perfect with just enough snow To tell if the birds had been there. Bird numbers are decent. Took a pair of 16 gauges.Going again next week and the wife says she’s going this time. Trying to talk her into a Xmas.hunt also , since the kids are all going to their in laws this year.

Got a sizer made for Jim. Need to replace the one I sent him this past fall. Seems I got his and the one for Walter mixed up when marking them. Jim has a nice .360 sizer marked .325 and Walter almost tore his press off the bench shoving a .360 bullet thru a .325 sizer marked .360.

Now they will both have the size they needed.

Rustoleum in the little cans, small brushes and a bunch of time.

I was sweating the name the most. Freehand lettering is intimidating. No erasing.

I am happy with the way it turned out. Nope - intheshop, :)

Thomas doesn't have a driver cylinder, too. Magic train. But, you already knew he was magic.

I like the handles short, I have nipped off about 2"s or so from several pair to get the COG closer to my hand.

the umm dew point was -11 last night, there is frost on the cars this morning.
I guess it was a little chilly last night.

Was chilly here last night, damn, got down to 49. I've heard that only 17 degrees colder and ice can form.
