Found what appears to be a late 90's,Samsonite?..... cam corder case? It was in piles of backpack, bow shoot "stuff".Thats an MTM ammo wallet and my favorite camo pants stuffed inside.

Am trying this as a front, field bag for serious varmint vaporization. It's got built in belt loops.Working on pics.

Sent in paperwork for a new suppressor. Now, act like a pumpkin for 8 months while
the feds waste time on a 10 minute job.

The examiner's office is one place the employees earn their paychecks. 10 minutes for you, ten minutes for each of the other 200,000 applications in their backlog. 23 people servicing the entire country. Actually I read somewhere its more like 20 minutes for an individual app and more for the multiple rpq's on trust/corp applications.

It is a .45 cal pistol can, I have any number of different 45 semiautos that could
use it. A S&W M&P .45 to a Ruger 1911 would likely be the first I get threaded
bbls for.

A special ops guy I know said that pistol cans are really fun, and it seems like
a good idea.

I have been trying to figure out why part of my back lawn is drying out and turning brown.
it's been pretty dang hot for up here the last 2 weeks, and I have been hitting the yard with water one extra day a week.
but one spot has been acting like it wasn't getting any [or much] water.
I noticed the other day the one sprinkler wasn't turning like it's supposed to so I went out and re-adjusted it and haven't thought too much about it until today.
I went out and flipped the sprinkler on earlier than normal and the stupid dog went over and turned the sprinkler head over to the one side so it was just flipping back and forth over about an 8-10' area next to the tree then she was just laying there on the lawn in that one shady spot rolling around on the grass having a good ol time.

I guess I'm gonna have to swap water times with that section of the yard and the sprinklers in the Garden, since she can't open the gate to the Garden [yet]

M&P is a drop-in and fuggetit. Both of mine splatter me with ink when I run them wet, and are quieter than Glocks I've shot suppressed, but the winner of quiet, fun, and no gas-face is the good old 1911. Somehow you're probably going to be ok with that :p

I highly recommend the Liberty style booster and barrel adapters, and you can make a fixed barrel adapter yourself to run it on pcc carbines if you like.

What is a "Liberty style booster"? A brand or a design? I have purchased a bargain Ruger 1911 specifically
for this application. I'll start a search on that. HMMM, AAC design, I guess I will be using their booster.

now that looks like something she would do if I left the dog door open... LOL.

she got in the new neighbors Jeep the other morning thinking it was my truck running since he was parked right next to it and had left his door open.
I had opened the truck door and let her out of the garage and told her to get in the truck,
as I was going back in the house for her bye-bye box and some cold drinks for me.
I guess she heard his jeep running and run straight to it and jumped in just as he was walking out the door, so he was standing out there with his jeep running [with Jax sitting in the drivers seat growling at him] for a couple of minutes, until I come out to leave.

Some companies have tried to standardize the booster threads. I don't remember exactly what is the same as what but Liberty and Thompson Machine have interchangeable units. AAC and Gemtec may or may not be the same, you should endeavor to find out. Since buying a booster is much more practical than engineering one, and they are not regulated, that route makes the most sense for most people. You'll "buy into" a system when you do, make sure it's something you can get replacement parts for in the future.

Smokeywolf,

Enjoy your remaining time with him. Good to hear that he seems to still be happy.

We lost our second cat in June, 17 years our little buddy. Always had to be in the
room I was in, greeted me at the door when I got home, woke us in the morning, ast on the
couch by us when watching TV. He was a great car traveler, but eventually he was just too
old. The wife is out of town, and the house seems particularly empty now
when I come home. :sigh:

Pets are hard to lose, but we can't stop the inevitable. Best wishes for you and your buddy.

Sorry Bill, for the loss of your feline family member..
We had a cat all the time I was growing up. Mom got him from a couple of little girls with a box of kittens by the front door of the supermarket. I was maybe 2 years old. He lived to be 24 years old.

I've put down one horse and two dogs over the past 30 years or so. Old Stormy Horse died of osteosarcoma. Same ailment that Timber currently is fighting.

Let'a see.....
Wet to my fit camp for an hour 7-8 am. Cut short because we had to get to a 2.5 mile mud run. Took me over an hour all told. A couple obstacles a I just couldn't do. Monkey bars aren't my thing.
Went to the inlaws and worked on the wall. We are almost done. Got almost half the cap cut and glued down.
Got home about 4 PM. Tired, sore, and dirty. Was good to get a shower.

Need to work on upper body strength a bunch.
