Best wishes. Take care of yourself, you did good. I can see no reason to not take care of other medical conditions because of the fear things will get worse with the Corona. In the meantime just let the resources sit?

this'll burn out eventually.
or we will figure out a treatment or shot to fix it up.

one of the things I got to thinking on is the random nature of this one, I have a feeling peoples immune defenses go into hyper drive and their own body is doing the damage that kills them.
that is probably why the deaths are random, and why the quinine helps.
it's kind of like reverse sickle cell.
think I will do some board painting and some board cutting/assembly today.

maybe go shovel some of that last 2' of snow out of the south side of the garden so it can make an attempt at thawing out before the next snow storm rolls through this weekend.

The stocked are legal size rainbow trout.
That means they 8"+long
Almost all stocked trout in Oregon are legals with some trophies as well.
I think the trophies are brood stock that they replacing.
The local lake is around 150 acres and is stocked with 5000 legals once a month for 4 months starting in Feb.
They usually stock the trophies in Oct.
This is a pretty much put and take fishery for trout as the lake gets too warm for them in the summer.
This is also designated as a trophy bass lake since it has produced 3 state large mouth bass records,
Yes the planted trout are one reason the bass get so large.
Large bass will , at times, take the trout you have hooked while you are reeling them in....dale

Some medical experts are saying Covid19 could come on an annual cycle like the flu.
Hopefully they will produce a vaccine and find drugs to help cur this viral disease....dale

immune defenses go into hyper drive and their own body is doing the damage that kills them. In the past, correct. This one seems to be different as it by osmosis, passes into the cell and destroys it. Lots of testing going on to find a protein to stop that from happening. Virus can't get into the cell, it dies.
Got all the 30/30 cases sized and primed, BO next.

Popper,
Responding to you comment in another thread, we're pretty closed to you as the crow flies (north Dallas Suburb).
We've had June Bugs coming out of the woodwork for the last two weeks! Never seen them this bad, this early in the year.

Doing the same as the last 12 days.. and this morning "el Presidente" let us know that starting Monday (ends the first 2 weeks) we are highly honored to enjoy two more weeks staying home or enjoying a cell.
The first "convicted" person of "willful disobedience" to the president's stay home order went before the judge and got 18 months in a cell.

you guys are in an early warming pattern.
it's holding the cold up here from moving on.
or the cold up here is holding the heat down there,, one or the other.
all I know is there are a lot of clouds coming down from the bay of Alaska and rolling through here.

lot of times the aluminum will groove where the cam rides.
Yep, that has happened. Funny thing: my first Lee six-cavity was a used Fattest 30 and part of my Lee-menting process was installing a set screw, for the sprue cutter cam to ride on. However, I forgot to do it on this mould.

Ben has a hard-surface fix for that.
To follow up on my last sentence: I've installed a set screw and the Lee-menting is now complete.

The occasional finning problem was due to a wee bit of protrusion of the farthest alignment pin. The sprue cutter cam now has a "hard-surface fix", and is a perfect match to the new one so no wear and tear there, and neither mould half shows any sign of warpage.
I might get round to testing it later today.

Ian,
I hope you can get some good news on you pending operation. Around our parts they are postponing most surgeries ! My brother who is 86 need to have some shuring up of his arteries near his heart...this was to be a immediate surgery but now it has been postponed until further notice Hey 86 years old ! Every day that goes by is important!

Okay okay. Short and sweeet as I can make it after a visit to the big ghost town of San Antonio.

I have a nerve sheath tumor, impossible to determine what nerve caused it, but nerve will be toast after surgery and that could mean anything from a little numbness or minor loss of neck muscle contol to which I can adapt up to losing my vagus nerve and most of my voice or possibly something worse.

Dr. is going to build a team (including a thoracic surgeon) in the next three weeks and we'll consult again at that point to schedule surgery. At that point the timeline is entirely dependent on schedules of all involved (as normal) but more particularly available facilities and peripheral staff....which is of course entirely dependent on the covid19 crisis.

Depending on the difficulty encountered accessing parts of the tumor for removal, they may additionally have to split my breast bone for access which is why the thoracic surgeon must be on standby. Even with a good MRI and CT scan they cannot predict exactly how things will go in surgery.

So, more uncertainty than answers right now but I have a really good "gut" feeling about this doctor. He understands and explained why there are so many unknowns and that it isn't going to be a simple matter to fix. That makes me feel better than the local doctor who was "gung-ho" to get in there and rip the tumor out....but whose colleagues wouldn't touch me with a ten foot pole.

Progress & him not running away are great signs.

Long 3 weeks if not more like 3-6 months plus but if they can help you seeing that light is paramount.
