EDIT: Price reduced . . . Now the entire package for $750.00 and I'll still pay shipping to the lower 48.

I would really like to sell this as a package deal. I have little interest in making a couple of dozen trips into town to the P.O. over a couple of weeks selling the dies individually.

The package includes a SAECO lubrisizer, 26 dies as listed below, 15 SAECO top punches and the conversion now offered by Keith to use RCBS/Lyman top punches in the SAECO lubrisizer as described here.

New prices for each currently listed at Midway is - Lubrisisizer $270, Dies $43, top punches $20, Keith's conversion with shipping $47. Total comes to $1735.00 plus shipping. The dies alone would cost $1,118.00. Top punches alone would be $300.00.

For the package I will take $800.00 $750.00 and I will pay shipping to the lower 48.

Reason for selling . . . I have two Stars mounted on my bench and the SAECO sits idle.

The dies are . . .

.225
.244
.258
.265
.266
.278
.280 (2 Dies)
.285 (2 Dies)
.286 (2 dies)
.308 (2 Dies)
.309
.310
.311
.357
.358
.359
.360
.431
.452
.454 (2 Dies)
.458

The reason for some duplicate dies is I bought a box of "stuff" several years ago that included some dies that I already had.

Side note . . . Keith used this SAECO lubrisizer to make the RCBS/Lyman top punch conversion and he has the lubrisizer. The dies and top punches will ship from me and the lubrisizer will be shipped form Keith. Still free shipping to the lower 48.

EDIT: Keith has returned the lubrisizer to me so it ships in one box from me. Still free shipping.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
If I didn't have 4 Lyman sizers and the cash was in my pocket I would be all over this deal, what a package.

I will tell you that this luber is in excellent shape. Compared to my old Lyman 450 the quality of this unit is much better. I don't quite know how to explain it, it just seems as if the main casting is cleaner, the parts are machined a little better and they fit together smoothly. And unlike the Lyman 450/4500 and the RCBS LAM the nut that holds the die in place threads on to the base of the die and not the mouth of the die opening in the main casting. No chance of stripping out, no need for one of my special nut wrenches.

If I wasn't hanging on to my extra cash in anticipation of the upcoming shop move this would never had made it into Swap and Sell!

............The reason for some duplicate dies is I bought a box of "stuff" several years ago that included some dies that I already had.

I usually don't like to comment on BST threads if I'm not expressing an interest, but I have a comment which may help - especially if someone newer to casting is considering this opportunity:

Duplicate dies of a given size very often do NOT size a bullet to the exact same diameter, providing some flexibility in getting the "fit" right.
Duplicate dies offer an added advantage of having dies you can lap to a slightly larger size, again - providing some flexibility in getting the "fit" right.

In either case, it would save someone the hassle and expense of ordering and waiting for a new die, which may or may not even be available. Duplicates are a huge BONUS in the case of a "package deal" sizer/luber, NOT extra clutter, like some tooling might be.

Again, mostly for those who are newer to casting. Took me some years to recognize the value of some deals I passed up and later regretted - particularly on loose, orphaned or unwanted sizing die sizes I already had covered.

there's interest.
but I got 3 stars set up and nowhere for another sizer to go.
there is many a time I wished I still had a simple in/out sizer so I didn't have to double, actually triple stroke if you count seating the gas check, all of my pointed bullets [or ruin the nose shape]

Wow. That is a heck of a nice offer.
I only have 5 of those sizes of sizers.
Calibers, yea, molds, ......not yet.
Keith's custom adapter, yes, also.
..........pondering..........

I'd have jumped on it months ago but I have four Lyman 45s, a 450, countless Lees, and a lathe...and for a while I've been powder-coating the majority of what I shoot.

:headscratch:I do my pointy bullets, for my AR-10, nose first in a Star. Don't have any nose altering issues, as long as I use undersized FN cast bullet as a pusher. The only time my bullets are run through the Star, more than once, is when I size and check, prior to heat treating.

I do it a bit different.
with many of my flat nose bullets they are drop in the die set the check in place and push/repeat.
with the actual pointed tips if I try to push them through with a following bullet I get flat noses of unpredictable diameter coming out.
I push the check on 1
I size lube 2
I push the bullet out with a little rod 3

What I do . . . Put check on bullet, doesn't matter a lick what the nose profile is. Hold the check/bullet base up against the base punch and lower the bullet & punch into the die. Push in until it's lubed. Raise punch & drop in a sized scrap bullet base first and push lubed checked bullet out without hitting the lube pump. Nose is never touched. Takes much longer to explain that than it does to actually do it.

I just snap the check on and drop bullet, nose first, into die. Lube bullet, push out with undersized FN................ base first.
