got a trip to Utah planned for the 8th of June to do some shooting and have a look around some old Haunts.
I'm looking forward to the shooting, but I'm not looking forward to seeing what has become of many of my old hunting spots.
I understand the old water hole I used to hunt over is now a parking lot for a couple of motorcycle trails.
it took me forever to find that little water hole out by the dry farms and it was on a grown over 2 track at the time.
I must have walked 10 miles the day I found it.
the BIL wants to send his 338 Lapua home with me to sight it in.
I'm not so sure about that.

I really enjoy the orange rubber geometric targets you can get at Wally World, etc. If you hit it and chase it down range, gets ever more challenging to hit! Reminds me of shooting tin cans and moving them as we went, except no mess/no trash!
