Suggestions for 357/38 92.

Here I was thinking that I was done buying guns.
Then I read this thread and realize I need a lever in 357 caliber.
Damn enablers...

Matt, over forty years ago, I made my mind up I was going to have only a small handful of guns I really liked and could really dedicate myself to. A little over ten years ago, I finally started making headway in that goal, and have been selling off lots of cool stuff I didn't need. The turning point was a 16" Rossi 92 in 357.

Long story short, I got carried away and let that one go and went with a 357 Contender Carbine, which I would not be without, but I should have kept that Rossi! Yeah, I sold it to my brother. He's a real trade hound and I was sure I could trade him back out of it in a year if I wanted to. Wouldn't you know, this Rossi 92 broke his long, long cycle of gun-fickleness and he won't get off that thing for ANYTHING!

I'm almost where I need to be on guns, with a small battery, plus a couple more to move yet. However, I WILL have anothe 92 in 357 some day, SOME how. That was the single most sensible, useful, USED, enjoyable and FUN gun I've ever owned and would be the ONE if it came down to that. I know I can shoot ANYTHING through my single shot Contender Carbine, and it would SEEM to be the ultimate in versatile utility rifle, but it's really the 92, I think.

I've entertained a few ideas about a few guns outside my small battery plan, which may never come to fruition and serve to keep my brain busy when I shouldn't be focusing on other crap, but the one I still NEED is another 92 in 357.

EDIT Not to seem the the "old wise one," rather that I'm the dumb _____ that messed up and let one go!

:headscratch:I'm opposite in that I've never sold any firearms, I've purchased. Too much thought went into them before acquisition. Never got a lemon.
