Any one have one?

Its been a grail of mine for some years. Passed on two opportunities and had one sold out from Under me.

I have another opportunity.

How do they usually shoot? Do they like cast?

Is there anything to look out for?

I know this one is a magnum frame.

I've got one in 308, the 83 Aristocrat. No clue, not even a wild guess what it might do with jacketed but . . . Is a truly fine shooting rifle with the RCBS 180 SPGC and 18.0 gr SR4759 at 1900 fps. Given that's the velocity range I was looking for I never did do much else with it.

The 1/2 size turkey target at 150 meters with above load, scoped 5 shots from bench. The high shot in the group was a called flyer. 5th shot to of course.

I have an 87, it came with a 45-70 barrel that I had a lot of fun with but since wrecking my shoulder at work years ago and recently having it totally replaced I can't shoot it anymore until I get better at left handed shooting. I use to use 300-400 grn cast boolits and it shot great. Barrels for it a very difficult to find so I put together a 7.62x39 barrel for it and that shoots better with jacketed than cast. But if I spend enough time with it I think I can get it to shoot cast well. My advice is BUY IT NOW, DONT WASTE ANY TIME GO AND GET IT RIGHT NOW. you will not regret it.

And I surely would have had I known it would be discontinued. For the third time. o_O I did buy two 8 pounders when heard it was going away. Again. Was all I could find at the time.

I seen a bunch of it during the Obama shortage, but I wanted 4756 not 4759 so of course it was everywhere.
