Only was told about this forum a short while ago. Had only ever stayed a member of one other. Think I am going to be here a while, as long as you keep putting up with me.
Just have been overwhelmed at the patience and help I have received here. Just plain straight answers and opinions, with out the internet expert flim flam.
It seams that those here, have a genuine passion for casting, loading and shooting. You are able to keep things fairly on track. I can tell I am dealing with a more mature audience here, that has been down the road I am traveling. Not a bunch of keyboard warriors, that know, because they googled it, or because it was in print somewhere.
Just, thanks guys.

Absolutely a great place! Haven’t posted much in awhile but this place is the go to if you need help or just want to learn.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Mitty38,
Just a heads up if you think we stay on track. It can go from what diameter to size at to why the wife is mad at me pretty quick around here. LOL
Yeah, thread drift is not only common here, it's sort of encouraged! And don't ever come here expecting anyone to talk you out of buying a new gun! Worst bunch of enablers in the world in that regard! ;)

confused-small.pngI don't understand . . . What's problem? Guns, molds, whatever. Of course you should get it, you do need it after all.

I've only had time to lurk a little a few time a week for the last few months, but had to log on to chime in on this thread.

Great topics, great people - especially the people. Thanks to all who make it that way.

As for "thread drift," it's been a bad thing about anywhere else because things get drug off in the weeds when someone starts bashing someone or something someone likes. Not the case here. It always seems to open one or more interesting things to discuss and consider. That's the people, once again. I actually enjoy the tangents and diversions as much as the original topic.

I read all the threads and their posts, even those with titles that don't seem to apply to my casting, reloading or general gun interests, because I never know what nuggets of knowledge I'll pickup.
But here's the reason for this post: many of those nuggets come from thread drift far downstream from whatever the main topic of conversation happened to be about.
Problem, though, is keeping all those nuggets in the memory bank.
