Things I learned from a steel plate....

Not since the last time I pulled pipe out of a windmill well.

I bet you had an adventure with the Camry.
Wasn’t too bad. We had two of everything, with the two engines, and a complete gasket set. My shop is heated and my son borrowed an engine hoist. My son got a fuel return line and a coolant line mixed, so got fuel in the cooling system. Other than flushing that out it went fairly well. So $200 for a junkyard engine and our time, and my son has his work car back.

Don't feel too bad about your drill incident Brad. About 15 years ago my Dad, myself and my younger brother where building a big deck on a lakeshore property. We'd made deck spindles by ripping treated 2x4's in half, about 300 of them. It was getting late in the day and my brother was predrilling holes in the spindles, to be used to attach them to the outside face of the floor joist. He managed to wind up the inside of his left thigh and pants, on about an inch of drill bit, as it came through the spindle! Have you ever heard a cat howl? You know how long those Milwaukee 1/2" drills take to stop? He couldn't let go of the spindle, and he sure couldn't let go of the drill. I jumped off the deck and reversed the drill to get him unwound! Tough to do when your laughing so hard you have tears in your eyes! Real respectable bruise the next day. The subject still comes up from time to time. LOL
