Max rebate is $50. Oh well, I will use the primers anyway.

Mine worked out to just under 22 per K for the ones covered by the rebate. Very good price these days.

I've got a lot of Remington SPP that I found out were not suit able for magnumerous loads. Only for lower pressure handguns like 38 SPL and .380 types.

I got a check for 72.50 in the mail today. That is like getting 2500 primer free. I like free.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
Now everybody remember that the uniform residential fire code only allows us 10,000 small arms primers per household, and (I think) 20 lbs of powder.

I'm broke right now. Still feeling the effects of the wife's hospital bills. I was able to pick up 10k assorted primers before all that happened. No rebate though...

So I participated by going my area supplier and picking up a case of LRPs. I got the mail in form directly from the store as they had already printed up copies for the convenience of their customers. (Shameless plug for Recob's Target Shop inserted here). I carefully sliced the UPC code from the cardboard box case, filled out the form, and enclosed the original receipt as required. Some time later I received a rejection/resubmission form from Repco, (the company handling the promotion for Olin Corp.) saying I had to submit the UPC codes from the boxes not the case. Subsequently I cut out the UPC codes from the 5 cartons and remailed that. I hope to heck that is what they want and not the UPC codes from the 50 boxes of 100. I hate rebates and will not play again. I called Olin talked to a young man who promised to have someone call me, nothing! I e-mailed Repco, no response. The bitter taste is beginning to form in my mouth. Repco has apparently revised the form telling consumers not to send the UPC from the case, but that is not what it says on the form I sent them. This is all bull puky.

I quite doing mail in rebates years ago. I'm still waiting for that first check and all others since. It's in the mail I'm told. I've yet to actually get a check. Mail in rebates are a scam pure and simple. If they want to have a sale price why the jumping through hoops for a check you'll not get, have a sale price.

Once read that very few buyers actually take advantage of mail-in rebates -- think it was 30%.

I participate in mail in rebates and have always received the funds. Just have to keep good records, in case. Mostly, do online submissions, if available. Return is usually quicker, too.
