Just saw this thread. When I installed my Timney it took about 6 passes of the file to make it work. I hope you get your trigger woes solved today.

Stay with it. I've had to call before. They were very nice
to take the time to walk me through my problem.

Good people to do business with.

Couldn’t get through on the phone while working. Let an Email with tech support. Hope to hear back at some point.

Every time I call all of their support team is busy with other customers. I’m asked to leave a message and someone will return my call. They have not. I sent them an email because on the recording they said this is the fastest way to get a response from someone their. They have not returned an Email in three days. I’ll try to call again today.

Okay. Finally got through to a human. Sounds like the trigger pull weight screw needs to be turned clockwise to increase spring pressure in order to cock the striker when the bolt opens. I’ll give that a try when I get home from work this afternoon.

Well, I tried to do what the lady at Timney suggested. No dice. The rifle still won’t cock when the bolt is opened. Guess I’ll be calling back Monday morning for more advice.

I feel somewhat responsible, because I suggested he buy a Timney and the single load device.

No progress yet. I need a day off from work so I can talk to a tech while I have the rifle in front of me. Until then I’ll just put the stock trigger back in and enjoy it as is.
