Larry Gibson is one of the most knowledgeable gun guys you will find on the Internet. You can find him on Boolits. Retired Army, living in AZ. He's been very helpful in conducting pressure testing for me on several of my projects. The current issue of The Fouling Shot has a thorough article on the pressure and velocity effects of increasing flash hole diameter in .308 Win. Best I have read on that subject.

He and others over there like to see and tell everyone how it is and it is their way or the highway. I post over there but not as much as I used to. I mainly cruise the for sale section and piss off everyone in the political section.
I sent him a mold one time. It is the original mold made for the 215B mold Outpost posted about. Well it was a perfect casting mold when I sent it. When I got it back it had a note saying he deburred it and coated it with something. Don't remember what it was. But it looked like moly. That is something you would never do to someone else's molds.
Well it still is on there and I tried to get it off but it is stuck. I was so pissed I have only casted with it one time since I got it back. Oh, and now the bullets all stick to the cavities when they just about jumped out before. A jingle of the handles and they all fell out. Not now, you have to whack the hinge pin several times to make them fall. I think I might let it soak in some acetone for awhile and see if that breaks it up.
