Translucent Copper Powder Coat

I got slightly better results after sanding the coating carefully off the checks. Now I just wipe the powder off the base of the check before placing on the baking sheet.

I coated a few of the 30 XCB bullets last week with the checks pre installed and they looked fine after resizing again. I might get a chance to shoot them this weekend and do some comparison.

Good stuff!!

when I tried Copper it was not smokes product. It worked but not well and took multiple
Coats to achieve appealing looking products. Even coating white or silver first.
Today its something I add to other colors and like its subtle change.

You want more of a copper look; check out post #6. I coated and cooked, then coated and cooked a second time.

I've only tried 3 of Smokes Colors, always got full coverage with one coat. They were simply a red, green and blue.

Second order, just as good.
If that color had enough red, I would be willing to try it.

Is smoke a member of the group? I’d like to order some but I don’t see a website for him
