Range was 12 yards.
His 1st time to shoot the revolver.
I thought he did real well to be his 1st time.( He ended up with a 5 O'clock OOOpps )

What sort of load?
I feed mine one load and one load only. 4.5 gr of Titegeoup and an NOE 503. Runs 750 FPS or so and shoots very well. No need for anything else.

I believe that load today was 4.3 of Titegroup with a 200 gr. SWC sized .432".

Titegroup is a great powder for that cartridge.

Those Lew Horton .44 Specials are fetching huge sums, and my 6 1/2" 624 and 3" 24-3 (with factory holster!) have been retired.
